The modern Christmas tree can be almost anything; something in the shape of a tree, made with unique items which the tree owner feels are festive. This new and creative tree makes Christmas something everyone can celebrate with really no religion attached. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The historical documentation of trees being decorated include using wool thread, straw, apples, nuts and pretzels back in 1419 in Germany. The first indoor tree recorder was in 1615 (also in Germany) and was decorated with roses, apples, wafers and other sweets. Then in the United States in 1805, documents have trees decorated with moss, cotton, pecans, red pepper swags and popcorn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So get ready to get out your tree\u2026whatever you want it to be\u2026and be festive! From November 23rd to the 26th\u2026it\u2019s 4 days that will make you get in the festive mood! Did you know after expenses, including $10,000 donated to Kids Are Worth It Nutrition Program<\/strong> yearly; overall money raised is given back to children groups and non-profit groups<\/strong> that help sell tree tickets for a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is truly an amazing community event\u2026hope you can make it out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
