The Lakeland Interpretive Society was established in 1995 and became a registered charity in 1999. Through a stewardship agreement with Lac La Biche County, the Lakeland Interpretive Society has been overseeing operations for the Lac La Biche Museum since 2014. The Society is dedicated to the development of a facility that will be the hub that provides interpretive, historical, and cultural programs to the Lac La Biche County and Lakeland Region.
The Lac La Biche Museum summer hours run from May to August, daily from 9am to 5pm.
From September to April, open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
We offer monthly programs which are free to attend. Donations are accepted.

Vintage Toys & Games April 2 – July 1, 2025

Step back in time and relive the joy of childhood at the Vintage Toys & Games exhibit, running from April 2 to July 1, 2025, at the Lac La Biche Museum. Featuring over 70 iconic toys and games from the 1950s to the 1980s, this exhibit is a nostalgic journey through decades of play.
