Yesterday was Remembrance Day and hopefully everyone took a moment to remember all that have fought for our freedoms. It was first observed to commemorate the peace agreement that ended the First World War in 1919 and we continue to this day.
Today’s puzzles are dedicated to the Poppy. When I heard that some people do not know what the red flower means, I thought this would be an opportunity to share. Very simply put:
Our red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future.
