This was the 6th Rural Women’s Conference.
This yearly conference is organized by a small group of volunteers with the goal of Empowering Women in Rural Life.
This year’s event was held in Plamondon on November 16, 2023 with 275 ladies in attendance.
Their Speakers were Alison Weaver- A Marathon called Life, Shelby Elora – All Set Style, A fashion show featuring Straight and Arrow Boutique and Four Seasons, Chantal Gauthier Vaillancourt-Self care during the peri/menopausal years, Tina Skakun-Apple Schools, and a comedian Rachel the Hutterite.
It was a day filled with old friends and new acquaintances, laughter, a few tears, a wonderful meal and even time for shopping at a few local vendor tables.
Next year’s event will be on November 21, 2024 in Hylo.
