Today is FAST FRIDAY, all the posts today are to get you as excited as we are about the upcoming Winter Festival of Speed next weekend! Lots of reasons to come to Lac La Biche! The committee would like to reassure everyone that it is safe for the activities to go on. Ice thickness is reported to be 30″ (76cm) on the lake from the tests in and around the entire Festival of Speed area.

Note, there will be no snowmobile drag races this year. You can still get your snowmobile fix with the activities the Lac La Biche Back Country Riders have planned.
You can also put a face to Your Local Buzz (I have been told my name is everywhere 😁). The snow sculpture throne, with the McArthur Place background, will be back again this year too with other snow and ice sculptures too!
