Oh Halloween…here for another year. Did you know it’s been around for over 2,000 years? It started as a pre-Christian Celtic festival. The festival was called Samhain and was held at the beginning of November. There was a feast that recognized the last day of the fall harvest and spirits crossing over. With the feast was the lighting of sacrificial bonfires while wearing costumes to trick the spirits.
Some prefer the scarier version of Halloween, but others the cute and cheery version. Our jigsaw today is definitely the cute and cheery. Have a Happy Halloween!
