Eyes to the sky! This is just an amazing photo of the Northern Lights!
Not only have the lights been out lots in the last week, there is the Perseid meteor shower to begin tonight and peak on Monday. The best chance to spot a meteor begins just after midnight and ends about an hour before sunrise.

(Babe Ruth is currently ranks 3rd in the number of career home runs at 714. Beating him out are; in 2nd place Hank Aaron with 755, and Barry Bonds is 1st with 762)
– 1981 – Birthday (fictional) Harry Potter (turned 35 this year on July 31)
– 1991 – Nickelodeon aired the first episodes of Doug (last aired June 1999), Rugrats (last aired Aug 2004) and Ren & Stimpy (last aired Oct 1996)
