Free Workshop! Frauds & Scams with presenter Julie Matthews, Monday, February 10th at the Heritage Centre from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
⚠️ With fraud being the fastest growing crime in Canada, it is difficult to stay on top of the latest schemes. The fraudsters are technologically savvy and convincing. They temp you online, on your phone, in your mailbox and at your door. Learn how to spot the most common scams and recognize the red flags. Julie will show the latest tactics and give tips on how to keep you from being victimized.
⚠️ The workshop is free, but they ask that you register so they have an idea of how many people to expect and to help with snack and refreshment purchase. Please register by February 8th. There are several ways to register.
