Free Workshop! Frauds & Scams with presenter Julie Matthews, Monday, February 10th at the Heritage Centre from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
⚠️ With fraud being the fastest growing crime in Canada, it is difficult to stay on top of the latest schemes.
⚠️The fraudsters are technologically savvy and convincing.
⚠️They temp you online, on your phone, in your mailbox and at your door.
⚠️Learn how to spot the most common scams and recognize the red flags. Julie will show the latest tactics and give tips on how to keep you from being victimized.
⚠️ The workshop is free, but they ask that you register so they have an idea of how many people to expect and to help with snack and refreshment purchase.
