This year’s event features a variety of activity centers for all ages, highlighting local talent and eco-friendly practices:
Upcycled Fashion & Crafts:
Browse a unique display and sale of items made from feed sacks by Crystal Tizzard of Farm-Tastic Creations.
See Natalie Cloutier’s beautiful hand-crafted clothing made entirely from repurposed quilts.
Sustainability Workshops:
Composting 101: Mike is back to share the wonders of composting with Red Wriggler worms.
Green Thumb Station:
Learn how to transplant plants and take home some greenery.
Eco-Shopping:
Our ongoing Garage Sale will be open! Browse for clothing, household items, and hidden treasures.
Seed Exchange:
Visit our Seed Exchange to take what you need or leave seeds for others.
NEW! Meal in a Bag:
Would you like to try a Meal in a Bag? These require a stove to cook. They are free, are in limited quantaties, and are on a first come first serve basis. One per person or family.
This event is hosted by Community Learning-Lac La Biche. We are dedicated to providing literacy and community-building activities in Lac La Biche County.
