Funday Sunday Puzzles Celebrating Early Summer.

Grab your coffee or tea and enjoy our jigsaw and word search.

With the puzzles, we like to stick to themes or celebrate different occasions. Well this weekend may be Victoria Day long weekend, but it is also considered by many the kick-off of summer. Sometimes, mother nature fools us, and we see some white stuff (not the fuzz from the trees that is floating around already). But this year, almost all of May has been unseasonable warm. The plants, birds, and animals seem to be pushed along into a season they are not quite ready for (this includes some gardeners). And, from what I hear, kids are feeling ready for summer break!

So our puzzles today are celebrating our early summer! Enjoy.

Did you know these puzzles, you can do them on your computer, tablet, or phone? The jigsaw is a quick 15-piece puzzle, but you can change that in the upper left corner, and pick the number of pieces you want.

Spring came in fast! The blooms on the trees and shrubs are out already.

On a walk along Churchill Drive there was a flowering tree mixed in with all the Saskatoon trees, and it is our photo jigsaw puzzle of the day.

World Bee Day May 20th. It is to bring awareness to the importance of these pollinators and the role they play in keeping our planet healthy. How can you help save the bees?

  1. Plant a bee friendly garden with all types of flowers that bloom at different times.
  2. Go chemical free and try to avoid pesticides and herbicides.
  3. Leave some stems and foliage behind in your garden and flower beds. These are valuable bee habitats.
