Tomorrow is a solar eclipse! It may only be a partial eclipse, covering 23% of the solar surface, where we live…but still remarkable to see.
The last one visible from Alberta was in 2017, when 70% of the sun was covered.
The next one we will be able to see is August 12, 2026, but only a sliver will be covered.
BUT…the next total solar eclipse will be August 22, 2044. That is in 20 years!
