Summer Salads. Itβs time for some tasty garden lettuce salad, maybe some pasta salad with those delicious garden veggies, or maybe a potluck dessert salad! Well, here is a salad that was recently a big hit.
Strawberry Fluff Jell-O Salad
Serves: 12β15
Ingredients
- 1 package (85 g / 3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 can (398 mL / 14 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 can (284 mL / 10 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
- save the juice drained from the pineapple and oranges to use as your cold water
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 tub (1 L / 8 cups) Cool Whip, thawed
Directions
- Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water.
- Stir in juice from the canned pineapple and oranges (you need 1 cup).
- Refrigerate for 1β2 hours, until the mixture is thickened but not fully set.
- Fold in the mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple and mini marshmallows.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip until well combined.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
