Stone Soup Food Centre – Monthly Souper Thursday! 🥣🥖☕
Join us this week for our monthly Souper Thursday on October 15! Stop by for a warm bowl of soup, a bun, and a beverage from 11:30am – 1:30pm (Available for Dine-in or Take-out, by donation).
With World Food Day coming up this Friday, it’s a great time to highlight what Stone Soup is all about. Operating as a community food rescue, taking in extra garden produce, surplus groceries, and donations from local businesses and individuals. Community members in need of food, can drop in to browse and select from the rescued food, and anything not fit for human consumption is put to good use as animal feed or compost!
Let’s all take time this week to see how we can fight food waste together.
